Samples of My Work

This anniversary ketubah depicts a wedding taking place under the night sky in the Old City of Jerusalem.  The Linden Tree in the foreground recalls the couple's original wedding.  Musical notes wafting through the air and white roses represent the couple's children and lend a feeling of magic.

This couple wanted their ketubah to have a design that was light, fresh, and modern. Notice how the text floats over the image.

In this example, a very colorful design seems to dance about the text. The circle symbolizes the cyclical nature of life. Flowers and leaves are typically depicted to represent fertility, life, the potential for growth, and abundance.

Colors have both universal and individual resonances. Think about the colors that best symbolize the tones of your relationship. Is your connection, earthy? Passionate? Spiritual? A bond between best friends? Thoughtful? A journey? Everchanging?

All calligraphy and artwork is done by hand.

Two trees reach toward each other; a lush garden grows in their shade. Witnesses sign in the blank space amidst the garden symbolizing the support of friends and community.

This design is available as a ready made print--text can be customized.

The look of this ketubah is bold, and yet quite intricate--inspired by an actual Persian ketubah dating back to the 19th century. This design is also available as a ready made print with either standard or custom text.

A vibrant floral pattern with bursts of color and swirling greenery. This image is available as a ready made print with custom or standard text.

Brightly colored flowers and leaves encircle the text to signify the time of their wedding, and the sense of new life and vitality inherent in the beginning of Spring, for this couple.

"I have found the one in whom my soul delights."

Pomegranates symbolize fertility, abundance and marriage, and are often depicted as a reminder of Judaism's ancient traditions and Mediterranean roots.

In this ketubah, two trees come together representing the joining together of two strong individuals. Nestled within the leaves are symbols that represent unique aspects of both partners and their relationship. The space at the bottom was filled on their wedding day with the signatures of all the guests attending the wedding, as they took on the role of witness for this couple.

This design is simpler-- with more leaves, and fewer flowers.  This couple described their relationship in more practical terms. They wanted the leaves to symbolize the lasting and more, "down to earth," nature of their bond.
